Speed controller RC BEC ESC T 450 V2 is an electronic speed controller (ESC - Electronic Speed Controller), i.e. a device for controlling the speed of an electric motor, used on radio-controlled models with an electric power plant.
Speed controller RC BEC ESC T 450 V2 allows you to smoothly vary the electrical power, supplied to the electric motor.

- The maximum peak current is the current that the regulator can withstand for a short time. Such currents arise, for example, during the start.
- Maximum operating voltage. If the voltage is too high, the regulator will simply burn out.

- Braking function
For radio-controlled car and aircraft models, it is important not only to quickly pick up speed, but also to quickly decelerate the engine speed, therefore the speed controller has a braking function, which is carried out by closing the motor windings through the controller. Also, the governor has a smooth deceleration capability, which reduces governor heating and extends the life of the motor manifold.
- BEC system
The BEC system is used in most regulators for low voltage motors. This function has nothing to do with engine control, but allows you not to put a battery for the radio control system on the model, but to use a power battery for this.
- Power Cut Off (PCO) function
This function is designed to turn off the electric motor when the battery voltage drops below the set value. This feature will help protect the battery from over-discharge, but is especially important on BEC flying models. When the power battery is discharged, the model still needs to be safely planted. When using PCO, the propulsion motor will shut off, but there is still some energy left in the battery to operate the receiver and servos, which will allow the model to land.
