KY-002 vibration sensor for Arduino is a digital sensor is triggered when a certain threshold of vibration. In this case, the output is "1" signal - if the vibration is, and "0" - if there is no vibration.

Connection KY-002 vibration sensor to the Arduino:

  • Pin - = GND connected to GND on the Arduino
  • Pin (middle pin) +5 v connected to the Arduino +5
  • Pin S - signal is connected to the Arduino pin 10

When the sensor diagnose vibration, LED-LED on the Arduino pin 13 blinks.

The sensor senses the vibration at any angle in any direction.

KY-002 vibration sensor for Arduino is mainly used in electronic toys, small appliances, for sports equipment, all kinds of alarm systems and other devices.
