DP50V5A step-down programmable power supply (laboratory power supply) is intended for use as a laboratory constant voltage supply. The display constantly shows information about the input voltage, the set output voltage, the set limiting current and the current consumption current, the power consumed by the load and the current state of the device. The display also shows the parameter settings menu. The module has many advantages over analog voltage stabilizers: small size, additional functions, excellent visualization of parameters, great control flexibility, high accuracy of setting and measuring voltage and current, ease of use and wide application possibilities DP50V5A step-down programmable power supply (laboratory power supply).
Setting voltage and current is simple, convenient and intuitive. The output voltage is set in the range from 0 to 50.00 V in 0.01 V steps, the output current is set in the range from 0 to 5.000A in 0.001A steps. When the power is turned off, the set parameters are saved in the non-volatile memory of the device. Up to 10 groups of parameter settings are stored in memory with the function of quick selection of the required group. The LCD of the module has a digital voltmeter and ammeter function.
The converter is made of very high quality, a radiator is fixed on the power transistor, which does not require additional forced cooling. Setting the output voltage is indeed very accurate. The input voltage must be 1.1 times the output voltage. The module is equipped with protection against input voltage reversal polarity and short-circuit in the load.
The module can also be used there as a battery charger. To do this, it is imperative to install a protective diode at the output, cutting off the reverse voltage to prevent the discharge of the charged battery through the output circuits of the converter and the output DP50V5A from failure.
Setting parameters:
The output voltage is switched on and off with the "ON / OFF" button.
When the "SET" button is pressed once, the current output voltage and current are set. To do this, you need to press the encoder knob and rotate the encoder to set the required value of the output voltage and limiting current. After setting the values, press the "SET" button to store them.
When you double-click on the "SET" button, the module switches to the mode of setting additional parameters, setting memorized parameters and setting the brightness of the display backlight.
