The Tomzn TOQ5-125/2 automatic backup input switch is used in the power industry to ensure uninterrupted power supply by automatically or manually switching backup power sources in case of power failure on the main line. It helps maintain the stable operation of electrical systems, especially in critical situations where interruptions in power supply can lead to significant losses or damage to equipment.

How does it work?

Automatic mode:

  • The device constantly monitors the state of the main power source.
  • In the event of a failure, it automatically switches to the backup source.
  • After the main power is restored, it switches automatically.

    Manual mode:

  • Ability to manually switch between sources using the controls.
  • Provides control in non-standard situations where automatic switching is not suitable. The switch is equipped with an internal light indication of the operating mode:
  • The red LED on the side of the main power line lights up when the main line is engaged.
  • The green LED on the side of the backup power line is on when the backup line is engaged.
