AKK FX2 Dominator 250/500/1000/2000mW 5.8GHz video transmitter for 37 channels

The specifications of the new AKK FX2-Dominator video transmitter will impress most FPV pilots.

The VTX has a maximum power of 2000mW, making it ideal for long-range applications. Under ideal flight conditions and with a quality antenna, the signal transmission range can reach up to 8km. To provide this power, the FX2-Dominator is equipped with two massive heat spreaders that are glued to the PDB using heat conductive adhesive. Due to the massive design, the weight is about 18 grams excluding the antenna.

The AKK FX2-Dominator has a 36 x 36 mm form factor with a standard hole spacing of 30.5 mm. Thus, it can be mounted in a single stack with your FC or ESC. AKK ships the transmitter with a cable adapter that uses a 2-pin JST connector for voltage (7 to 26V input) and a 4-pin connector to connect to your camera / FC (5V).

Instead of LED indication, in this transmitter AKK have gone back to using a display to show information. A short press switches the channel (1 to 8), a press > 2 seconds sets the range (1 to 5) and a press > 4 seconds changes the transmit power (1 to 4). The video transmitter also supports Smart Audio for on-screen display (OSD) customization.

Note: When using 2W power, it is not recommended to keep the quadcopter idle.
