The BLDC 2212 920KV CCW motor. The motors of this type differ from conventional motors A2212 in the presence of grooves on the shaft, which protect the propeller from turning, and also have a thread for a clamping nut.
The thread is CCW (counterclockwise), i.e. left-handed (reverse) thread, and the nut is black.
The 2212-920KV CCW motors are compatible with the motors used in DJI Phantom quadcopters. They can be installed on quadcopters, hexa, and optocopters with frame diagonal from 330 to 550mm (including F330, F450, F525, F550).
The presence of threads allows the use of self-tightening propellers.
