The VIFLY ShortSaver V2 - Smart Smoke Stopper is a device that is designed to protect your radio controlled model from short circuits and possible damage to the model when the power is first connected. Thanks to its built-in smart microcontroller, it avoids potential short circuits that could cause damage or explosion of the battery. VIFLY ShortSaver utilizes an electronic fuse to completely cut off the current in your remote control if a short circuit or wiring error is detected.
The ShortSaver V2 - Smart Smoke Stopper is used as a preventative tool to protect your radio controlled models from the negative effects of short circuits and helps you avoid potential hazards. It can be used with various kinds of radio controlled models such as quadcopters, multicopters, airplanes and others.
Main Features:
Short reaction/defense time. VIFLY ShortSaver will power off a device that draws above the switchable threshold of 1A or 2A within only 3ms. This is much more efficient than the old way of using a light bulb or fuse, as it reduces the likelihood of something breaking before the fuse blows.
Threshold selector for 1 and 2 amps. The VIFLY ShortSaver 2 has a 1A or 2A threshold selector for different needs. For smaller assemblies with more sensitive electronic components you can select the 1A option, for larger assemblies you can select the 2A option.
Added a power on/off switch for easier receiver tethering. Sometimes it can be difficult to hold down the bind button and turn the power on. The new version of the VIFLY ShortSaver adds a power on/off switch that can make tethering your receiver much more convenient.
It has Amass XT60 and XT30 input connectors. VIFLY ShortSaver 2 can be used for devices with different connectors - XT30 and XT60.
LED indication. Equipped with LED indication to indicate the status of the device. This can be useful in detecting problems and malfunctions.
